What is ICT?

ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology, Devices: Computers, cell phones, and other devices that can store, retrieve, and direct information .

·         Networking: The internet, wireless networks, and other networking components 

·         Applications: Software, middleware, and other applications that enable users to access and operate work information 

·         Media: Broadcasting technologies like radio, television, and webcasting, as well as recorded broadcasting technologies like podcasts and audio and video players 


ICT is used in a variety of fields, including education, business, medicine, and spare time activities. For example, ICT is used in medical devices to detect and treat diseases, and in the development of robotics arms and tools.
